“Take every chance, drop every fear, and always, always wish on stars” – Unknown
On an early Saturday morning in February, 28 fabulous and generous fitness enthusiasts celebrated 2016 at the Sweat for Smiles “Happy New Year Yogilates” Party made possible by lululemon athletica in support of Make-A-Wish Foundation. The party included a full 45 minute yogilates workout by celebrity instructor Kristin McGee, healthy bites, a mimosa bar, a raffle, wonderful conversation, and much more.
Here’s a quick party summary. For more party details, follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see more detailed “how-to” blog posts to come!

Yogilates Style: What We’re Wearing
Kristin and I LOVED our outfits for the event, provided by lululemon athletica. We found that both the tops and leggings were in very trendy, appealing colors and in styles flattering to both our very different figures, while still being comfortable for yogilates. It comes to no surprise that the fashion element of “fitwear” is what lululemon athletica does best. Check back soon on our Facebook and Instagram for our upcoming “Style It” post to more details.
Kristin and I are also wearing Funktional Wearables bracelets over our activity trackers. We loved how it dressed up the trackers and complemented our style. I was also wearing a “Strong is Beautiful” Necklace by Fashletics. This necklace is the ideal accessory for working out when you want to step up your style in a way that doesn’t interfere with performance.
Sweat. Give. Sparkle!
