SHINING BRIGHT FOR SUN SAFETY – rooftop style – at the Sweat for Smiles “Sunrise & Savasana” Party last month at Soho House NY. So grateful for all who came bright and early to support Shade Foundation, the only national children’s charity working to eradicate #skin #cancer. Everyone who attended enjoyed yoga, sun safety tips, healthy sips & bites, goodies from Beyond Yoga, and more! Everyone had a blast making time to indulge in fitness for a good cause.
Just in case you missed the party, here’s a quick recap!
Shockingly, “1 in 5 Children grow up to develop skin cancer”. According to ShadeFoundation.org, “The Shade Foundation of America is the only national children’s foundation devoted to skin cancer education and prevention. The Shade Foundation’s mission is to eradicate skin cancer and melanoma through the education of children, parents, teachers and the community throughout the United States.”
Before we all began the yoga workout on the Soho House NY’s beautiful rooftop, Sweat for Smiles Wellness Contributor, and NYC Rheumatogist, Dr Maggie Cadet spoke to everyone about the importance of sun safety and share some tips.
