“Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.” ~ Helen Keller
Sweat for Smilers brightened things up last Wednesday at the Sweat for Smiles “Team Up! Brighten Up!” Yoga Party benefitting Back on My Feet, in support of the homeless, and made possible by The North Face.
As guests arrived in their “fitness brights”, bright decor set the scene with festive tablecloths and colorful letter balloons spelling out BE BRIGHT were prominently displayed for inspiration. This event was a reminder of how magical it is to build each other up. Motivate, inspire, and push each other and we will all stand brighter together.
With this inspiring bright decor, healthy sips and Fit Bites, an awesome and challenging team yoga workout by celebrity yoga and pilates instructor Kristin McGee, exclusive styling and shopping discounts by The North Face on their incredible Mountain Athletics spring , mingling with other fitness-minded guests, generous fundraising for Back on My Feet, and goodies for all, all the guests had a blast.
The Good Cause: Back on My Feet
After thanking all of our partners and guests for making this incredible event happen, I was thrilled to introduce Deb Brown and Mariel Feigen who attended from Back on My Feet and talked to the group briefly about their revolutionary charity and how it supports the homeless. For more about Back on My Feet or to donate, click HERE or follow @BOMFnyc on Instagram and Facebook.
Guests indulged in the following healthy “Fit Bites” and sips before and after Kristin McGee‘s team yoga workout! Recipes were displayed in frames so guests to snap a photo and recreate their fave treat at home. Look out for a post coming soon with some recipes and more from this party!
