Feel Good In Your Body Without The Guilt

This time of year is FULL. Full schedules, full homes, full hearts.
Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, another holiday, or simply navigating a busy end-of-year season, this is not the week for perfection. It’s the week for presence.
So instead of workouts, rules, or pressure, here’s a simple 7-day game plan to help you stay active, enjoy seasonal food, and protect your energy — without guilt.
DAY 1: Redefine “Being Active”
If it makes your body feel better, it counts.
- Walking while running errands
- Playing with your kids
- Carrying groceries or gifts
- Stretching for 5 minutes before bed
Goal: Move your body daily, not “work out.”
DAY 2: Protein First, Not Perfection
Seasonal food is part of connection and tradition. One simple anchor:
- Include a protein source at most meals
- Then enjoy what’s special — without negotiation or guilt
No earning food. No compensating later.
DAY 3: 10 Minutes Is a Win
If you want structure:
- 10 squats
- 10 push-ups (wall or floor)
- 10 lunges
- 10 deep breaths
Repeat once or twice. Done.
Consistency > intensity this week.
DAY 4: Eat Like a Guest, Not a Judge
You don’t need to comment on your plate — especially in front of your kids.
- Eat what you enjoy
- Stop when you’re satisfied
- Let the moment be enough
Modeling peace around food is a gift.
DAY 5: Choose One Thing to Support Your Body
Just one:
- Drink more water
- Go to bed 30 minutes earlier
- Take a walk outside
- Stretch while watching a show
Small care adds up.
DAY 6: Release the “I Should Be Doing More”
You are already:
- Showing up
- Caring for others
- Giving generously of your time and energy
This week is not about doing more — it’s about being where you are.
DAY 7: This Season Is Not a Test
There is nothing to pass or fail.
No damage done.
No “getting back on track.”
Just a body that carries you through a meaningful life — and deserves kindness.
As people who care deeply — about our families, our health, and our communities — the most powerful thing we can practice this season is grace.
Grace with our bodies.
Grace with our plates.
Grace with ourselves.
Wishing you rest, strength, and peace as the year comes to a close
